Rebecca Jackson

Rebecca is a research fel­low pro­vid­ing assis­tance to Professors David Autor, Daron Acemoglu, and John Van Reenen. She grad­u­at­ed from Cornell University with a degree in Policy Analysis and Management. Prior to com­ing to MIT, Rebecca worked for a pol­i­cy eval­u­a­tion firm in Washington, D.C. Rebecca’s research at MIT revolves around assess­ing the impacts of automa­tion and tech­nol­o­gy on the labor force through eval­u­at­ing the chang­ing nature of American jobs over the last cen­tu­ry. Her research inter­ests are in applied micro­eco­nom­ics and pub­lic eco­nom­ics, par­tic­u­lar­ly as they per­tain to improv­ing child wel­fare, jus­tice and hous­ing sys­tems in the United States.
