Elizabeth Setren

Elizabeth Setren is a post-doctoral researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research, where she studies topics in the economics of education and labor economics. She has studied the impact of Boston charter schools on special education students and English Language Learners, the scaling of the Boston charter sector, and the effects of learning technology, the flipped classroom, and blended learning. Elizabeth received her Ph.D. in economics from MIT in 2017. She will be joining the Tufts University Department of Economics as an assistant professor in 2018.
