Elizabeth Setren

Elizabeth Setren is a post-doctoral researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research, where she stud­ies top­ics in the eco­nom­ics of edu­ca­tion and labor eco­nom­ics. She has stud­ied the impact of Boston char­ter schools on spe­cial edu­ca­tion stu­dents and English Language Learners, the scal­ing of the Boston char­ter sec­tor, and the effects of learn­ing tech­nol­ogy, the flipped class­room, and blended learn­ing. Elizabeth received her Ph.D. in eco­nom­ics from MIT in 2017. She will be join­ing the Tufts University Department of Economics as an assis­tant pro­fes­sor in 2018.
