Carolyn Stein

Carolyn Stein is a PhD stu­dent in the Department of Economics at MIT. Her research inter­ests lie in applied econo­met­rics and labor eco­nom­ics, par­tic­u­larly the eco­nom­ics of edu­ca­tion and human cap­i­tal. Carolyn grad­u­ated from Harvard in 2013, and before join­ing SEII worked as an ana­lyst at Bain Capital. She is cur­rently involved in SEII research on the effect of need-based finan­cial aid on post­sec­ondary edu­ca­tional attainment.
