Adrian Blattner

Adrian Blattner is a research assis­tant to Professors Josh Angrist and Parag Pathak. A fel­low of the German National Academic Foundation, he grad­u­at­ed from the University of Potsdam with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics in 2017. Prior to join­ing SEII, Adrian worked as a Research Analyst at the World Bank, ana­lyz­ing the per­for­mance of Palestinian local gov­ern­ments, and con­duct­ing an assess­ment of gen­der inequal­i­ty and sex­u­al harass­ment among World Bank staff. At SEII, he sup­ports research focused on stu­dent assign­ment mech­a­nisms and the effects of char­ter school atten­dance on stu­dent out­comes. Adrian’s main research inter­est is to iden­ti­fy dri­vers of inequal­i­ty in devel­op­ing and devel­oped coun­tries.
